Some of the people answering this question are complete idiots. Of course you can rewind a ruddy DVD! You don't have to switch between chapters at all! This person has asked a serious question, I presume you are all too stupid to be of any help.
As for the rewind, you are looking for a button with two triangles facing left. Do not mistake this with the button with two triangles facing left towards a vertical line, this will go to the previous chapter.
Hope this helps you.

To rewind a DVD, simply press the Rewind Button. Once pressed you will see that the movie is in rewind mode. If you would like to stop Rewind, simply press the Play Button.
If you don't have a rewind button please look for Previous Track Button which looks like this " I< " and this should be the alternative for rewind button.

DVD's are just data. They do not rewind. To go backwards when watching a movie, there usually is a back and forward button that fastforward and rewind at multiple speeds. If you want to start the DVD over at the beginning, you can usually just eject the disc, and then reinsert. Good luck.

Television set is produced to the lowest common denominator - i.e., the common IQ of the general public, whereas a written e book is written to the highest common denominator
