I'm doing PF Debate and I was wondering if anyone could give me any information that they believe would be helpful for this debate topic

That lobbyists negatively influence the legislative process in the United States

Any informatino would be appreciated thanks!

Lobbyists have one agenda and one agenda only: to persuade our lawmakers to pass legislation that promotes, supports and protects the interests of the industries the lobbyists represent. Through enormous campaign contributions, it's not hard to figure out that Congressman and Senators can be heavily influenced to vote for bills that are favorable to the lobbyists.
