One of the most athletic athlete to play at WR. He went from pro bowl in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and now to over rated? If it wasnt for his mouth if you ask me he would be one of the best WR at the game for a long time. Now everything that he does even one little thing wrong they look at him as a "moron".
2000 - On December 17, Owens set an NFL record with 20 catches for 283 yards against the Chicago Bears,
2000 - 97 receptions and 1,451 yards. also scored 13 touchdowns
2001 - Had 93 receptions for 1,412 yards and 16 touchdowns.
2005 - Owens made a miraculous return from a broken leg suffered earlier in the season to record nine catches for 122 yards in Super Bowl XXXIX.

T.O Is good player but not great. Yes he made some excellent catches but he's no Jerry Rice. His attitude and how he spit things make him look like a bad guy. He always wants to be center of attention and blames others. If he knows he miss a ball he won't admit it he wil deny and deny and blame the Quaterback or his defender. You never hear him say "my fault guys, it was on me." I Think if he stayed on the Eagles he would have had his *** kicked by Donovan McNabb. What you see on the field is not the same as off the field. Yes he is a good receiver but off the field he is nothing but a FAKE.
And who ever said that Micheal Vick has the same problem need to check themselves. Vick has nothing to do with T.O.

Yes, T.O. is very talented, but I believe all that has went to his head. The reason why he's not having a good season this year is probably because he's "too good" to practice with the rest. The media wouldn't be reporting the news if T.O. hadn't been involved in situations that were newsworthy I also noticed that when he misses a ball, it's always someone else's fault. It's a shame that a man of that talent has turned into that type of ego monster. I feel that he's on his way out. He'll be lucky if he has a job next year. I don't know of any team who'll want him. I'm sure Dallas was the last resort.

The NFL offense has broken a lot of offensive records this season and they aren't reported much. Who cares if some unknown quarter back broke the quarterback rushing record in a season while his teammate broke the record for most points in a career in the same game that the team lost. What the sports writers really want is dirt. They want mug shots on the sports and their own "Paris Hilton." That's where TO comes in.

he's missed a game with a sore hamstring, missed a game after hand surgery, and has been playing at least a month with a torn tendon in his finger. after all of that he still leads the league in receiving TDs. whether you hate him or not, you can't help but wonder what his numbers would be without all of that. people want to criticize him just because thay have no valid reason for hating him. people just want to point out the fact that he leads the league in dropped passes. he also leads the league in torn tendons in his fingers. he keeps demanding for the ball more often because when he's more involved, they win. the last time he demanded for more passes, the cowboys won four straight. overrated? prove me wrong.

His performance has been down this year and unfortunately he wants to always blame it on the quarterback not getting him the ball. He has dropped a lot of balls this year and though he is a great athlete, his mouth always makes him sound like a whiner or a crybaby much like Randy Moss. He needs to just shut up, take responsibility for his own actions, quit being such an attention getter and play receiver like he is capable of.
