they are going to get crushed in the bye week of the playoffs ... but they still had a successful season.

I have mixed feelings about the Jets right now. I think they are a scrappy team that likes to get into a pinch to pull out wins over teams they technically should loose to. However, two years ago Pennington was looking to be one of the elite quarterbacks of the league but the rotor cuff injury has changed him. He’s still an intelligent quarterback but his arm strength at times is pitiful. It would be great if he could heal back to 100% but after a year of playing, I do not see it happening.

My prediction is similar to others here; Jets should beat Oakland to make in to the playoffs. At best they might win the first round.

Someone here mentioned this week’s game against Miami. You have to give credit where it’s due Zach Thomas; which is by far the best middle linebacker in the NFL, kept Miami in the game. If Miami had an offence the game might have turned out different but myself I’m glad it went the way it did.

Oh yeah, I bet the rest of the league is shaking in there boots over the Jets. However soon they will all be joining me in my living room watching the playoffs on TV along with the Yankees and the Giants dreaming of what could have been.

If they beat Oakland(which they should)they will make into the playoffs. They've done a great job this year shutting out the Pats and almost beating the Colts.

i personally don't have anything against the jets, but i just can't see them making it very far into the playoffs, they're a mediocre team that's done well for themselves this year, but they've also lost to a lot of superior teams, new england (yes they beat them once) indy, jacksonville, chicago, they lot to buffalo once, and sad to say even cleveland beat them. again i don't have anything against them and i wish them well, but i just don't see them going anywhere

They barely got past a weak Dolphins team & they haven't clinched a playoff spot yet, so I'd hold my horses before praising them too much.
