I need as much iformation about this as possible , if I have to upgrade all the pistons and rings etc.... thank you for your responses

Yes, you can turbo the GS. I believe Hahn Racecraft made a kit .
You should be able to get 200-225hp out of a turbo GS with 6-8lbs of boost and a streetable tune. If you want to run more than 6-8lbs of boost then you will want to buy forged pistons and rods.
If your looking for 300hp or more, sell the car and buy a GSX or GS-T. You will spend more money trying to get the GS to perform as well as a stock GSX or GS-T.

It depends on the condition of the engine. If it's worn, then the compression will probably blow by the rings. If the engine is in good shape you should be able to turbo charge it.
