I totally agree 120%. Girls (humungous) girls at my school squeeze into hollister shirts that are so tight, you can see their fat folding over the shirt. The other thing is, ( I don't mind pretty asians) but butt ugly asians wear abercrombie and hollister. I want to punch those posers in the face.

You need to worry about more important things. I personally wouldn't shop at the stores you mentioned anyways, because to me they are very immature and cheap. I would much rather prefer my prep look from polo jeans, jcrew, etc. where I can feel sexy and preppy at the same time and not look like I am in high school.
And if you think size 8 is fat, you have serious issues. The average american woman is a size 14. so where exactly are they supposed to shop? We are not all skinny waifs like you.
And by the way stores like abercrombie and hollister are not preppy. I lived through the 80s and the original prep style and those are not it. They are wannabes to the originals like hilfiger, polo, gap. I would rather wear the originals. Preppy style originated most likely out of guess what? prep schools in new england! Where they wore uniforms with plaid skirts, polo shirts, blazers and khaki pants. it was the country club look of the age of decadence called the 80s.

Sorry, but you have got serious issues if:
1) You get mad at something that is so trivial and frankly none of your business;
and-
2) You think a size 8 is in any way fat.
You can't just discriminate against different body shapes and sizes. I am a size 6-8 on top, but because I have wide hips, I am a size 8-10 on the bottom. That doesn't mean I should not wear certain clothes, because someone has issues with anyone over a size 4 wearing designer clothes! That is just shallow.
We don't have Hollister in the UK, but most clothes shops cater up to at least a UK size 16 (US size 12), I'm sure Hollister stocks up to at least this size, so what is your problem?
Take care : )

I agree - about bigger girls wearing the tight jeans and them not fitting properly. But if they want to wear a cute surf hoodie, let them!
You need to be more open minded about style and coture.
www.breezybeachwear.com has surf-style clothing in a wide variety of sizes.... for the tiny people and those who are larger than an 8 (I am thank you, but I'm also 5' 11 and not fat at all).

WHO F-CKING CARES?! maybe they like that stuff and someday want to fit into it. after all, different styles of clothing (regardless of brand) fit different body types. one style may fit a fit person, but another style might fit a bigger person. i'm sorry, but this question just sounded ignorant to me, and i couldn't help but voice my opinion on this. i'm not "skinny" or "preppy," but i occasionally find something cute at Abercrombie or Hollister that fits me. oh, and try maybe improving your grammar and spelling... little evidence of thought into the question also, i see.
ahh... wouldn't it be SO great to exterminate ignorant people?!

Yep i'm a plus size woman(and a sexy one too), but you'll never catch me doing that ish. don't worry yourself with what others do with their money. lol

ahhh yes that bothers me too! there is this girl in my english class and she is pretty big and she wear these american eagle jeans and a nine west belt every day and the only reason i know that is because her shirts are too short and so her fat hangs out.
