Get a hobby. There are plenty of wholesome things that don't allow you to have a social life. (I'm assuming this is the life that she is not allowing you to have)
Read, write, draw, paint, sculpt, play solitaire, play Internet games, jump rope, start a business, write a song or poem, make a collage using old magazines (I always make next year's calendar this way). Learn to sew or bead, or make jewelry.

Try volunteering, many organizations need help... do it and you will have no time to get bored. What is life according to you?? Just discuss about the same with your mother. I suspect that "having a life" according to you may not be all that sober and hence your mom is not approving it... Keep your communication clear with your mom, I am sure she will help you. well i share your pain when your mother can't get her own life i mean its so unfair when your friends are going out you ask your mom she gives you a flat out "no!". well here are a couple of suggestions you could go on your computer if you have one you can go on the internet and write some fan fiction or download msn if you don't already have and talk to your friends if they have an email account or maybe you could just surf the net if not if you have any systems (ps2, xbox,etc..) you could play a round of that or catch up on a good book yay reading other then that im out of ideas

I agree with picking up a broom , or a book, I am sure you have plenty of things to keep you occupied, enjoy your family honey, ones you love can be taken away in an instant, and you will wish you would have spent more time with them.
Oh and you have a computer, so you could google things that interest you and learn about them :)

When you feel bored it is because you find everything boring, which means you have no interest in anything, which means "you" are boring. :-) (How's that for a long sentence?)

There are PLENTY of things you can do, even with limited resources. Begin to take interest in yourself and what is around you and your boredom will cure itself in a flash.

I find that when nothing much interests me and I can't think of something intriguing to do, the absolute best remedy is doing something nice for somebody else. It's true!
