Lebron is doing more in his 3rd year and the two previous years, than both Kobe and KG. Thus it would seem that Lebron is the better of the three. I actually would like to provide a 4th option, though injured the last two year (including now) Tracy McGrady. He's led the league in scoring before and deserves to be mentioned in this conversation.

But looking at it from an objective point of view I'd say that Lebron is going to be the best player in the league for a while. He's putting up stats Jordan couldn't have dreamed of within 3 years of the beginning of his career and doing it at a younger age.

Definitily Lebron James. He's managed to become a great player and, at the same time, stay away from public scandals.

Kobe is a great player, but most people know know him for his off-court affairs.

Kevin Garnett has had a great career, but Lebron has been outstanding since his first game in the NBA.

LEBRON JAMES. He has a LONG way to go, and even M.J. said Lebron was going to be better than him. We'll see.

LeBron James barely over Kobe and Amare Stoudemire. Don't even include Garnett.

if you mean who was the best when they jumped then it's lebron james easily. if you mean who has had the best career then it's garnett (top-5 power forward of all-time). and if you mean who's the best right now, it's kobe

Amare Stoudemire should be on that list as well. Who knows how great he would be had he not had his knee injury last year.
