My Jeep Cherokee won't start and whenever I try to open it through the romote control, try to turn the lights on, try to turn the ignition on etc. it simply won't work.
I was thinking of jump starting it, but was afraid it might damage any internal processors or other electronics. Is it safe to proceed with jump starting?
I have a 2001 make Jeep Cherokee.
Thank you very much.

Shure it is ok to jump start a jeep here is how
Put postive to postive on battery connect 1 negitive to the battery on 1 car and on the jeep put it to the engine block, not the battery neg post
Start the car. do not start the jeep. Let the car run for say 5 minets. After that try to start the jeep..
it should start if not, wait again another 5 minets.
Have the alt output checked to see if it is charging the battery.
NOTE. DO NOT REMOVE THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE ON THE JEEP TO SEE IF IF THE ALT IS CHARGING. IF YOU DO WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING IT CAN DAMAGE THE JEEPS COMPUTER.

Thank you for your question

Your battery may have a dead short if it is that dead. I suggest you remove the battery and have it tested. You may cause a problem with the jump vehicle.
