I bump into some thing ,the keys fall from my hand ,and all I try to do is avoid waking the people ................I'm about to rob .
Is this common ...does it happen to you?

The noise happens all the other time, it's just that other things are going on and there are other noises so you're not really paying attention to the creaks. As for the keys, that just happens because you're trying too hard to keep quiet. I wake up a lot in the middle of the night to pee and always to try to open my bedroom door quietly, but because I open it slowly, it makes more noise and while I'm paying attention to that I end up running into the wall or something.

The cooler temps during the night cause the entire house to slightly contract and change shape. This puts load on the floorboards and causes them to squeak more. It also sounds louder because there is no background noise at night.
Try breaking into houses in areas where the temp difference between night and day is less and where there in some sort of background noise at night.
