Dear Gama, if you have very nasty water and you want to kill some germs, as long as you let the microwaved water cool down, but I really do'nt think it matters, I use to fill by water jugs up with water and let it set to let the clorine evaporate. I also water my indoor plants with warm water[ it helps to melt fertilizer], I know they prefer warm water to cold water. Mabe I'll try your experiment and some how let you know. Happy Growing!!! To Nuke or not to Nuke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in my opininon all plants grow well in soil. But not in 5 days. You could get a sprout though what ever seed you pick 1 in deep in a dark space for 3 days then out , but the key is temp. Any type of bean haft to be planted in 60degreeor better dirt or will rot. Best to keep ur sed @that temp too not too hot or dry 5 days you should se a sprout

Did you forget to start your science project in time? Another variable... my tap water is well water and good too. What's yours? Chlorine? I wish I could help but I've never known anyone who microwaved their plant water.

Plants are not terribly picky about water. They are far more picky about too much water.
