A historic or mythical fact may be because it was programmed into him by his ancestors. It was a cultural habit of marrying one's own daughters that goes back to the early mythology of the near east. The Sumerian god En-ki (lord earth) impregnates his daughter and then his granddaughter , and would have happily continued had thier own mother not put an end to it by using a powerful spell on him to sicken him. It was done but still not condoned 5,000 to 20,000 years ago. Even the early jewish patriarchs married thier offspring. This is why I believe this type of behavior is genetic.

Us men were asked a question something like this by the females in one of my sociology classes my junior year of college. We dove into this subject for a whole week that year. In my humble opinion normal men who have healthy feelings towards their daughters and yes sons and young children do not understand why unhealthy men have these kind of feelings. I do not understand why a man would do this anymore then why some men are coward enough to beat around on a wife/women or child. I am not easy on men who do these things and give them little room for excuses like a sociologist or therapist would and maybe that is why I do not understand. I know I am not much help but I did want to share that experience with you.

The abuse is more about power than sex, and a child is easy for a weak sick person to control. They also may think "Its my kid, I can do what I want" and the family may keep quiet even if they know whats going on, thinking the kid will "get over it" when they grow. Or the men pick weak women with children on purpose.
Because more women than you think will give up their kids or turn a blind eye when their daughter is raped, just to keep their "man"

Us adult adult males have been asked a question something like this via the ladies in certainly one of my sociology instructions my junior 12 months of faculty. We dove into this subject for an entire week that 12 months. In my humble opinion prevalent adult adult males who've wholesome thoughts in the direction of their daughters and specific sons and youthful babies do no longer understand why risky adult adult males have those form of thoughts. i do no longer understand why a guy could try this anymore then why some adult adult males are coward adequate to triumph over around on a spouse/women persons or newborn. i'm no longer hassle-free on adult adult males who do those issues and supply them little room for excuses like a sociologist or therapist could and perhaps because of the fact of this i do no longer understand. i know i'm no longer lots help yet I did desire to share that have with you.

B/c he has been sexually molested himself or seen/been around this type of abuse in his family (i.e. sisters, cousins, etc.) and it was his first exposure to sex acts and sexualizing females. Instead of thinking of his sister or cousin as a friend or playmate, he was forced to think of her through the eyes of the sexual predator in his family or neighborhood who preyed on his sibling or family member.
Or, if he was molested himself, then he has no sense of self-worth and/or respect for childhood's purity. Not all abuse victims experience this nor victim's siblings, but some do.
