I know you can list at the top & down the side for pay per click but how do you get your website to come high on the list on the front page of freebie ads ?

You would have to pay Google a 'pay-per-click' fee. They are not freebie ads, they cost a lot of money. Email them and find out for yourself.

i think it depends on what the person is searching for,and the result that matches his search the most comes high on the front page

you pay a certain amount of money for every click you get from the google page.
The more you pay for each click the higher they put your link
