No - but the work you have to do is much more intense than anything you had in high school.

no way! uni was heaps easier that year twelve at high school! the only thing is the work is harder....as in longer essays etc etc
but uni is a bludge, well was for me anyway, i guess it depends what you want to do at uni! i did teaching and it was great. no stress at all. you just have to make sure you have a diary to write all your due dates etc in, otherwise you may get stuffed. but it is so much better than school, show up when you want, you can choose your timetable, it is a very relaxed atmosphere and most days i was only there for a few hours. one year i planned my timetable so i was there from 8am to 7pm one day and then 1pm to 3pm another day and then had the rest of the days off!! you will love it and no way is it as stressful as teachers say! i remember year 12 teachers saying that to us, trying to make us freak out, but it's not true!!

Uni was a ton more relaxing than high school was for me.

In high school, I had classes from 7am to 3pm every day. Homework every day. I had 7 classes (ok, maybe only 5 or 6 to actually study for, but still). AP tests at the end of the year to study for in addition to whatever my classes required. I was fairly busy.

In college, I only had 3 or 4 classes. I chose them, they weren't chosen for me. If I didn't like a certain subject, I could either choose the least horrible one or avoid it completely. Classes only took up 2 or 3 hours of my day. Sometimes, I could schedule it so I only had classes 3 days a week and for only like half the day. The professors usually didn't assign busy work.

College was awesome. With all that extra free time, you could do a ton more stuff. I was involved in extra curricular stuff in both high school and college, but I feel I made more of a difference in college cuz I had the time and more choice as to what I wanted to put my time into. I also had a TON more time to just hang with friends, watch tv/play video games, etc.

It's only stressful if you get behind. Just pick a college right for you, and a major that you love. Stay on top of your work, don't party too much and try your best. Don't miss classes and try to be part of a study group.

If you want to do something.

You want to be in this career

then you will be happy, even if it is alot of work

this is want you want and chose to do with your life.
I never did like some of my hs, classes
but they HAD
to be taken so it was hard to study for something that made no sense to me
