Im not able to access my firewall through my computer. i go to control panel, its not there i go to norton, its not there. so i click on the help and support center, type in firewall and it gives me a link to go to my firewall, once i click it says that "this program could not start. i never had any problems with my firewall and everything worked fine until today and i never touched anything. any help??

Are you referring to windows firewall or norton firewall?
If you are referring to windows firewall, chances are that you are running windows xp sp1. It will help if you could clarify that.

Try a system restore back to yesterday. Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>System Restore
