See if your chemist has a product called Magnaplasma, this will draw out the boil and it's core. I'm not sure of how to keep them off, if they are recurring I advise you to see a doctor, sounds like the diet is missing something.

to help bring boil to a head put a hot wet wash cloth on boil as often as possible work well.
