Yes it was a very good film indeed well worthy of the best film oscar.Due to it's realism it hit a few raw nerves I can tell you. Good acting all round also made it compulsive watching.Would find it hard to believe anyone could watch it & say otherwise.

Hello Carla, yes I liked it and felt so happy it won the oscar for best movie in 2005 defeating Brokeback Mountain. All the actors involved, let me name a few Sandra Bullock, Ryan Phillipe, Mat Dillon among others, worked so well. The plot was very original as you said and the way all characters´stories and lives were connected due to the crash was amazing.....I really like the end, I think it was one of the best films I´ve seen so far.

A very insightful, thoughtful film about race relations and the tensions that exist between different communities in America.

The best bit was when the racist cop had to rescue the Thandie Newton character from the car crash.

I also thought it was very original and a great statement. However, I found it had such a dark tone to it, I left the movie feeling pessesmistic about humanity a bit. Just my 2 cents.

It was pretty good. It hit on an independent film level, even though it has a star studded cast. It was done very brilliantly, since usually too many stars in a film can spoil it.

Yes. I liked the separate stories in their own rights and also how they interacted with each other. It raised a lot of race related issues and it was both shocking (when Thandie's character gets abused by the cop) and cute (the kid).

It was great and it really was better than brokeback mountain and it really deserved the Film of the year award. It depicted society in general and the other one just focused on gay society and culture.

I absolutely loved it. I loved how they intertwined everyones lives and how everyone's actions impacted each other in some way or another. Was also a great way to show how everyone can be racist, or have preconceived ideas.

I had trouble sitting through in the movies defence, I think it was aimed at more of an adult crowd, while I'm still in school.
