Basically mild wear and tear, with a few chocolate stains.
Are there any compact hand held models?

Well if you want to rent choose the one from Lowes. That is the best one I have ever used. It was worth the 45 dlls including the cleaning liquid. Try it.

I love my Hoover F7220900 SteamVac V2 Upright Vacuum.
Its light and easy to move around. I use it once a month to keep my house looking great!!

ok-Mart has one for sort of $129, Wal-Mart has them too, i think of its made via Bissel yet i'm undecided, this is referred to as the mini-green gadget and has each and every of the attachments for upholstery cleansing and it works good.
