I always use No. 7 - it goes well with my skin and doesn't bring me out in rashes. Its top quality stuff!
I've not had any really bad reactions, apart from to real cheap stuff - which serves me right really!

I really like mineral makeup. The kind I use is called Color X and really it is a knock off of the kind you see on infomercials. But it works just as well IMHO. I like that it blends really well and therefore is easy to put on. It isn't as easy to overapply as normal makeup- with my old blush I had to be careful about that because it was hard to control the amount on the brush. But my mineral makeup has a type or straining thing in the containter that controls the amount.
I like that it feels so light and that I can sleep in it and it won't make me break out. I can't stand liquidy foundation, and it is so bad for your skin.
Minerla makeup is a bit more expensive but I have had my supply since Dec. of '05 and still haven't run out, and have plenty left, actually. You can buy it pretty cheap off of e-bay, too.
Good luck in your quest- it's hard to find that just right makeup!!

I am 13, and I have been wearing this make-up since I was 10. My mother is a make-up artist and sells MaryKay as well as Merle Norman. They're both wonderful brands (and I've tried many others...such as revelon, covergirl, ect.ect.) MaryKay is still my favorite. With a clean face and a good moisture (both which MaryKay sells) it glides on smoothly and stays on for days. Sometimes I forget to take my make-up off and have to get up early the next morning, it's still there and I'm not broke out! (Even though leaving make-up over night is very bad for the skin...) Covergirl...it dries my skin out really bad and was hard to get on...Revlon felt too wet for me...but anyway. Glad to help!

Don't wear make-up that often but when I do I like to use Mac studio fix. It's great for people with oily skin. I don't wear lipstick but I really like Victoria's Secret's lip gloss. They are sheer and have a slight flavor great for kissing. I also use Cover Girls Lash by Lash. It really stretches the lenghth of your lashes. It's also much cheaper than some other brands like Lancome or Este Lauder.

I think for me, MAC (normally has booths in Nordstroms) has worked best for me, I like lots of color and MAC has metalics that are nice, and go on wonderfully without being all chalky and pasty. Even if before application it is liquid, it really does dry into a smooth powder that stays on nicely, and the color is so vibrant even when it does come off it still is visible and pretty because MAC uses so many streams of color...y'know? I dont really know any brands that i dont like, once i find something Im hooked so, sorry I can't be of better assistance.
=] (Maybelline I sometimes use though, thats cheap cheap and works nicely too)

Shaklee's Minerelles makeup has worked the best for me because it blends well, so I don't look like I have a lot of makeup on, and doesn't irritate my skin. Their products are more natural than others I've tried.
You can find them at Shaklee.com. I also highly recommend their lotion and environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
Good luck to you!

I would have to say Clinique. It works very well on your skin. It doesn't make your skin irritated. For older people I would say Este Lauder. The worst makeup I have ever used is probably cover girl. It didn't work that well for me since I have to use certain kinds of makeup.

I love MAC and Este Lauder because they are not too expensive and they work great. They last all day long. I have to admit when I just need gloss, i am a sucker for any flavor of Bonnie Bell lip gloss, Dr. Pepper is the best.

I use Revlon Colorstay because it stays on all day. Any other kind seems to dissapear after a few hours. I dont like covergirl or those other drugstore brands.
