Honestly, you are pretty young to babysit. Do you know what to do if a child chokes? What happens if a stranger comes to the door? Do you feel comfortable being responsible for another individual's life? Most 11-year-olds are not ready to be responsible for a child's life. You are still a child yourself! I give you kudos for trying to make so extra money, but you may be better off doing some extra chores around the house or helping neighbors out with misc. odds and ends.
If you do insist on babysitting, I recommend taking a babysitting course with your local community center. I took a week-long training program where I learned CPR, the Heimlich Manuever, how to console children, etc... It would be VERY helpful for you to know.
Minimum wage is around $7, or a little less. I think $7 or $7.50 an hour would be reasonable for 1-2 kids. Three kids I would bump it up to $10, although I think it would be absurd for a parent to let an 11-year-old babysit three of their children. Whatever you do, start out babysitting ONE child and see how it goes. Don't dive in head-first and take on 2 or 3. Babysitting is a LOT more difficult than it looks. Make sure you are ready for that responsibility.
Good luck!

Here's a tip. Tell your clients to pay what they feel is fair. They will almost always overpay. If they don't pay fairly, never be available for them again. Believe me, if a parent can find a good, reliable babysitter, they pay more than what is fair. That way, the sitter will say "yes" at a moments notice and always be available to them. I pay reliable sitters $7 and hour...even though they only ask for about $4. Younger sitters charge less than older sitters. Sitters with training in first aid and cpr also charge more.
I tip those who give me the option of whatever I think is fair. I want to make sure they know I appreciate it.

Well you are very young and don't have much experience.
It would depend on the day of the week - more for weekdays since you are in school.
Also consider your clientel. If you are babysitting family consider doing it for free! If family friends no more than 5 bucks an hour.
If rich neighbors shoot for 10 bucks. But really being 11 is very young to demand much money - as if there is an emergency you cannot even really drive to the hospital.

I pay my sitters $5.00/ an hour. However, they are American Red Cross Certified, and have taken baby sitting classes with their local YMCA. If they were not certified, I would not hire them at all. The youngest sitter I ever hired was 13, and she was certified as well. I don't recommend anyone hire a sitter that isn't. Babysitters should be trained in emergency situations. Good luck hon, however I think you need a few more years on you, and some training if you haven't already had any. :)

I used to charge $4 per hour, plus an extra $1.50 per hour if there were more than 3 kids or diapers involved.

depends on your experience and who you are baby sitting for. For instance I had cpr and first aid training so I got payed more than most people. And fyi to be nice i didn't say I charge this an hour the parents usually ask you what they going rate is and you say around 6-8 bucks and they will give you what they feel you deserve.
I hope this helps and good luck!

Over 5 hours, 1 child- $5
Less than 4 hours, 2+ children- $6
More than 5 hours, 2+ children- $8

Depends on the situation and everything... maybe around 8$/h CAD... so like 7 USD/h
One of my friends sits a special needs child, and gets over 20$/h CAD... over 18$/h USD.
