Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell. A classic and a GREAT book! I'm currently reading it and I never knew old books could be so good.

All the books of Nora Lofts. She writes historical fiction, and about half of them are like most, centered around a historical figure (like Queen Eleanor, Richard the Lion Hearted, etc.) but the other half are centered around a real place and characters based on very ordinary, local people who actually existed but who are not famous. One of her books (or maybe it is a pair of books) is about a single house that lasts through several centuries, and all the families who live in it.

Mark Twain's "Tom Sawyer". I found this book incredibly dull, but many people love it! I personally like anything by Ernest Hemingway and Hermann Hesse (especially "A Farewell to Arms" by Hemingway and "Demian" by Hesse). Enjoy!

Gone for good by Harlan Coben. It gets better and better all the way to the last page and it's possible. I loved it.
