for UNR, it seem like you will get in for sure. why don't you apply to a better school's full-time program?

You should be admitted immediately provided your undergrad GPA was decent (3.3+). Your GMAT score is competitive at top 10 schools. I know, I also got 710.
My only thought on that might be that you should aim for a higher ranked program. You could probably easily get into a top 50 MBA program, and that is worth the trouble.

If you are going part time and you are in Reno -- do you have any other choices?
WIth your numbers, you could probably get into a ranked full time program. UN-R won't increase your salary by much and won't allow you to switch fields. An MBA from a top school will let you go in any direction you like and will probably double your salary.
Think about your options.
