To keep the interest you must share your hearts with one another--your goals, dreams, values, principles, interests, hobbies, etc. If you have a lot in common, the interest will probably hold.

I've been in a few long distance relationships. Believe me, they stink.
Even though I'm not your age, and I'm not giving you motherly advice, I'm just telling you from a been there done that too many times in my life thing.... LDR's STINK!!!
My first LDR wound up marrying another woman while professing his great love for me. The second one just couldn't commit and wound up using me for his weekend fun. The third one became my dearest friend, but he couldn't deal with the distance, and then when I moved closer so we could be together, he showed me just how NON-committed he was by dating every female in sight.
I sound bitter, sorry. But I've just had no luck with the long distance thing. I finally found someone local and we hit it off right away, dated a lot, had a great time, and got married. Oh, I met him on yahoo personals by the way.
Good luck!

Just make sure you keep your lines of communication open. A long distance relationship can work when there is an end in sight and both of you are wanting the same things.

My friend,

i also am quite negative on your relation with your friend.

if it is serious, it is worth making the removal. or waiting a 6 months but you plan a removal ... or it will not hold.

if it is real and strong love ... move on, 1 of you should come to the other if not ... move on !
you seem to be young consider this.

kindly

You really can't. Long distance relationships rarely work out for the best. Look for someone else to date.

It won't work move on! Don't try to hold on to those things. If it is meant to be then you two will find each other again, if not it was never meant to be!
