LIFE vs Advice?

I'm interested and want to study history, art, philosophy, psychology or bible and I don't know what to start studying now when i'm in high school so the things that I will be studying will be connected to the things that I want to study in the future, so I will be accepted in college or university.

Right now you need as wide a range of knowledge as possible so that in the future you can start narrowing you interests into areas that you like and have aptitude for. You DON'T/SHOULDN'T specialize now.

Colleges also like you to have some volunteer community service as well as outside interests so don't just narrow yourself down into studying.

If in the future at college time you still can't decide then the type of school that you pick will be quite important.

If you are coming from overseas and a foreign language then your English level should be as good as it can be. Also, some schools LOOK for people from overseas or even specific countries. E-mail the admissions offices of colleges that you are interested in.



There are good Bible Colleges out there that are accredited and are members of US Regional accrediting bodies so that degrees are fully transferrable.

Go to the ABHE website- association for biblical higher education - and look for lists of schools near you or near where you want to move.

THEN- check each school out very carefully. A good one will have a wide ranging program that will have introductory and second level courses in most or all of the subjects that you mention.

Find someone who can help you understand their beliefs and lifstyle standards too.

hi valentino! ok i am a highschool student in iran next year i will go to university i am studing science and i had a situation like you i really loved physics and i was really good at it and i did not know which course to take in the other hand i am terrible at chemistry so the situation was confusing for me and on the other hand in the firsyt year of highschool they took a exam about our interests and when they gave me the result they said me according my answers i like litrature and it is better for me to take litrature so you see i did not know what to do i just think some days and i decided to follow science because when i check the situation i realized that the most important fact about my studies is my job in the future and i like to be a dentist so i chose this course so just as a freind i have to tell you think relax about your future what do you like to be then choose the course that is related to your interests you will be the best at sth that if you really like it even if you are not that good at it!
