wii MINGLE HELP!?

for some reason when i go to the front page when you make a mii the migle setting doesn't work??? what do i do?

I'm not sure what you're expecting it to do but you need to be connected to the Internet for your Mii to mingle, and I don't think you see anything beyond that... basically other Miis that mingle from other systems can be seen on your Wii in Mii Parade, and you can add them to your Mii Plaza if you want.
