Yes and no. Verizon has an exclusivity agreement with LG to not sell this phone to other providers for a certain period of time. Being a CDMA phone, it can't be unlocked so if you had Alltel or Sprint, you're out of luck.

There is a GSM version of it that you can buy, if you use T-mo or Cingular. The downside to it is that you can't buy it on a new contract or upgrade, meaning you have to buy it at full retail price whereas if you buy one from Verizon you can get whatever promotional pricing is available. GSM chocolates can run you $400 whereas Verizon's would currently cost you $100 (if you were starting new service/doing upgrade)

Yes Verizon Wireless is the only company that you could get it from. My sis just got hers about a week ago. She got the Cherry Red, it's really pretty, and so is the Mint.
They come in Black, Cherry Red, Mint Green, and Snow White. :)

The chocolate is really just a fad...
It's too thin to open with one hand, the buttons are hard to feel, and when you hold the phone to talk the buttons on the sides get hit all the time.

Uhm. No, They wont supply you with a telephone. once I have been given coverage on my lg watev telephone i replaced into sparkling that if i broke it or broken it i could get one for unfastened. nicely it happend and that i went in and asked 4 a clean a million they're like the completed comes as much as wat replaced into it seventy 5 money (it rely on telephone valu). So yea AND the seventy 5 money is WITH coverage. So in case you dont have coverage your with no paddle. I purely my sidekick this summer season and prefer it tmobile is the appropriate.

You can get the GSM version unlocked and use it on Cingular or T-Mobile.
