Why is everybody shocked over his death for Gods sake?
He lead a full life, whats the big deal?

I kept expecting the newsreader to say "He was only 93."

It's always sad to loose someone that was in high power or famous no matter how old and people are just expressing how they feel over the loss of former President Ford.

I don't think anyone was shocked, just saddened by the death of a former President. People have no tenderness any more.

I don't think so many were shocked because he had been in and out of the hospital lately. As for the media they will always sensationalize anything.

I'm not shocked over his death. I wish people would feel like this over James Brown, they soon forgot him.

Because he was president of the United States and an ex president does not die everyday...I am not really choked up about it though.

Nothing, but he was a President...most Heads-of-State get the treatment from the media when they die.

And remember, he's only known for falling a lot and pardoning Dick Nixon. His presidency was a throw away.
