put the card into a compactflash device e.g.phone, and connect the device to your pc via usb cable

Your camera should have a usb lead to connect it to your PC. Some printers have their own multi card readers, but I don't know whether you can transfer the incoming files to your PC. Otherwise, I'm afraid the answer is : NO!!

yeah, leave it in the device and connect using usb if it has a cable ...
