I kind of agree with you, but not to the fullest, because first of all i don't buy rap albums. Nowadays I don't really like the rap songs, they don't have the same vibe they use to. I change my mind I do agree with you. The only rap I listen to now are the ones being played on radios, I prefere to stick with r&b and hip hop. The only rappers I like are Kanye West, Bow Wow, and maybe T.I or Lil wayne. the others to me are Wack, especially the newer ones, except for Jeezy cuz "I luv it"

I bought Sirius to enjoy the Howard Stern show and classic Swing music. When I think of classic music, nothing from nowadays comes to mind. Today's music is trash.

This coming from a 25 year old.

It's what I like to call "Manufactured garbage."

Now, I would call Jay-Z's Hard Knock Life CD a classic. It's great.

Dre's 2001 is also a classic in my opinion.

Bootleg's "Death Before Dishonesty" is also a classic. Not many more that are coming to mind unless you throw in some Tupac or Biggie.

Thanks.

Look at what's EVER been released. Rap? I am sorry, I have no respect for the genre'. Go into a music store and ask for the SHEET MUSIC for a popular rap song.......there is NONE.

No guitar, no drums, NO instruments...NO "musical talent"....just an electronic machine making that annoying thumpin sound....and someone sayin' "Yeeah" every 8 seconds or so"....and talking about someones butt.

Talent? I think not.

Jump up on stage with Queensryche or someone like that ...

MUSICIANS.

Have a great New Year YO !

Classic garbage:
Gauche flashy jogging-ish clothes.
Cheap or phony jewelry.
Annoying electronic sound (noise) making machines (no instruments)
Tough guy street talk nonsense lyrics
Fly-by-night studios
Availability of cheap easy-to-make (and copy) CD recording equipment.
An audience that glorifies the above.
