CAPTAIN BARBOSSA!!!!!
have you watched the first movie? if not, then you should cause he's a main character. he's the guy who mutineed against capt. jack and took over and was captain the black pearl until jack got it back again in the end of the first movie.
it was really suprising to see him come down the steps in the end because he supposidly died in the first one (he gets shot).
but yeah, totally watch the first movie (pirates of the caribbean: the curse of the black pearl). its a great movie (and you'll find out who Barbossa is)

I'm guessing not.
So let me fill you in.
Barbossa was Captain of the Black Pearl in the first movie. The crew commited a mutany against Jack and Barbossa becane captain. At the end of the first movie Jack shot Barbossa so he should be dead, but somehow he returns at the end of the second movie.
That's who the guy walking down the steps is.

Watch the first Pirates movie.... It's the villian from that movie making a return of sort for the third movie. The actor's name is Geoffrey Rush, the character's name is Barbossa.

Captain Barbossa. Jack killed him at the end of the first movie, now Barbossa has to help everyone bring Jack back. Ironic isn't it?

Do you remember?
He's alive again even though he got shot at the end of the first because someone went to World's End and got him back. Theoretically Tia Dalma because he was hanging out at her house throughout the movie.

that would be Capt Barbossa from the first movie who originally mutined Jack and took over the black pearl if you look closely you'll see him earlyier on in the movie when the voodoo lady gives Jack the jar of sand.

Captain Barbossa... he used to be captain of the black pearl. he had supposably died in the first movie... i have no idea of how he's alive but i'm sure they'll get us out of the doubt in the third movie.
