my friends are definitely talking behind my back. they talk about how quiet i am, and that i'm pissing them off because of that. but i can't help being quiet... i'm naturally like that! would you be upset if you had to go through the same thing?

yes i would be quite upset. In fact if i hear that someone is talking behind my back the way i approach the problem is to confront them with that. I don't mean to argue or yell but to tell them i heard they are talking about me and then take it from there. Let them know you don't do that and you do not appreciate that they are doing that to you. Tell them they can come to you and discuss anything that they think needs to be said. Of course now we all say things at time that can be considered talking behind someones back but, you just have to try to see what is being said and go from there if its worth approaching at all.

i use to be quiet also and people talked behind my back. only these people did not really know me and they did not say i was quiet they were saying that i was a stuck up b****. my roomate is the one that told me and also told me that she knew that i was just quiet, but that if i did not change she was going to look for another roomate as she was outgoing. it was the best thing she could have done for me, as i worked on being more outgoing and now i am a much happier person. so don't get mad take it as a good piece of advise

I have gone through the same thing, and it pissed me off, too. We soon worked it out though, and became friends again. Just tell your friends straight that it's not fair to talk about a trait you have, when you can't change the way you are. Tell them if they can't accept you for who you are, then just shut up and find another friend.

yeah it's not cool when friends do that but they could be doing it cuz of jealousy. So either way, if they do talk behind your back then they're really not a good friend. Give them a chance though and tell them that you don't appreciate it and that you would rather have them tell you face to face. If they continue then drop them.

Yes, I would. I am 34, and lost two friends this way about 2 years ago. It hurt me to lose them, but not as much as it hurt to know they were talking about me and criticizing me behind my back. Friends, at least true friends, don't do that.

Well dump them, if they were true friends they would actually confront you about it and say it behind your back. But if you really love them then talk to them and tell them that this talking behind your back is hurting you and it needs to stop.

you have talked on your pal with reference to the form you felt approximately her selections. sure, we are probably all answerable for doing this, yet we learn from our blunders, that's in basic terms how existence is. you could shop your friendship. in basic terms provide it time and each thing will paintings out via itself. enable her understand you're sorry, and at last she would be able again around. yes i would im quiet untill you get to know me ! but other things my friends where talking about just say we arnt that close anymore. just ! dont listen to them if you wount to be quiet and they have a prob. with that they arnt reall friends. friends are sapose to kick the peoples butts that are talking about you!!! but yes i would be pissed
