I talk to my friends. It's good when you have someone that you can trust to talk to so you don't keep everything bottled inside. I used to do that then discovered the hard way that when I try to keep things bottled they have a way of exploding.
Music also helps...find positive music...music that you love some that you can scream along to when you're just pissed and feel like no one really gives a f'. I like Linkin Park, Incubus, Metallica & Eminem for this. Sometimes it helps to just scream along with who ever is singing and get it out of your system.
I also keep a journal. I write and vent it feels like talking to someone and it helps.
Hope you find the help that you need.

Look. Everybody gets to a piont like that. but u know what? If u stick through it u will get through it. I was in a point where i was tired in life too. It was hard. it was horrible. but i got through it. It took me years to get to the point where i am now. but u know what? Its worth it. I will admitt i still struggle. but just HOLD ON. And i agree wit the guy about bieng pessmistic. be grateful. be happy.Dont give up. Take thing step by step. work on ur problems adress them and figure out a way to solve them. lets say ur depressed because of something of ur past.. this is the first step. u have adressed that u are deprsses bout the past. now go on from there. work a way to solve this problem. if u are sad cause of some girl or broken relationship then dont sweat it. it will hurt in the begging but u will get over it and find someone else. I also dont beleive in medication. if u can seek help from a professional if u cant tell a friend u can confine in. tell them everything. they will be ur therapist write in a journla let iit all out...fu.c.k everything that is giving u problems. This is all about YOU. work on YOU 1st. Hope this helps (sorry rele bad spelling trying to type fast!!)

Hi Questiona...!!!!
Welcome to the club. At least we are in the right track, we know we are depressed and we don't want to be medicated!!!
Good for you, you shouldn't take any meds. that will eventually make things worst. I'm consious at least that depression is a chemichal in balance in our brains, that with the proper diet and exercise could be control and cure. And adding to that all the faith in GOD, one sure to be better than new!!!
First of all you need to get to the root of this, ones you know exactly what are you angry, up-set, frustrated at, then you LET GO !!!!
Forgiving the people that has being causing you to feel this way is the first place. Even though depression is a chemical inbalance;
external situations are often to blame, making the condition more difficult to control.
The things that has help me A LOT, is thinking about me first, how to improve in my relation with GOD, fa. and others.
Also taking better and more time for fittness and health.
And even though I have some health issues which doesn't help my condition, I have to say I feel much better, and looking at life with a much better attitude, liking and loving myself each day even more.
Not expecting anything from others, has help me appreciate, a lot more of all that GOD has given me already!!!
FAITH IN GOD IS CRUCIAL, and humbling ourselves to HIM holds us up!!!
I'm at ease, have more confidence in myself, enough to advise others to do the same. GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS YOU.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

First off, you're probably feeling more depressed about your depression than for the actual thing that made you depressed. Check out this link for more info on this: http://www.4therapy.com/consumer/life_topics/category/110/Sadness+%26amp%3B+Depression
Second, u sound like a REALLY REALLY pessimistic person. U need to know that in order to feel good about yourself, u HAVE to be optimistic. It's impossible to be pessimistic and happy at the same time. For that, you might wanna talk to me some more about yourself, so feel free to drop me an email.
