I like the name Talon becuase I like the car Eagle Talon and my brother has one. I do like James Talon though. It sounds pretty snazzy.

I think it is very masculine and charming!

Talon is a cute name, but to have a fun name like Talon with a boring middle name like James doesnt go. Something like Talon Skyler or Talon Wren

I like the name Talon for a girl, I think that it's a little too feminine for a boy, I really like the name James though, keep that one and try to find another for the first name... maybe Tristan or something if you want to keep the initials TJ.

I like James Talon.
But, I, too, think of a D&D character.

I think Talon is kind of a goofy name. James is good, but Talon is a birds claw, and kind of a name from a soap opera. I don't know if it had any significance to you, but it sounds like you are trying to be different, and sorry, but not good.

Weird. Ghetto.

Sorry, you asked.

I think it's a bad choice - but that's me. I'm pretty traditional.

How about Thomas Allen James, and you can call him Tallen for short, or something like that.

If you name him Talon, when he grows up, he's going to be asked where the rest of the eagle went?

James Talon is much better. I think it's very cute, actually!

I'm not fond of it myself. Talon just reminds me of a big old bird's claws lol.

How about Decklan James or Deckland James if you like that spelling?

A talon is actually a claw - good name for a mafia hit man or a comic book character I guess.
