I got my iPod two days ago (yes, Christmas) but it keeps freezing, every day for at least 8 hours. Is this because I am not using it enough or what? And how do I fix it because it is currently frozen? And, yes I have tried using the hold button and pressing down the menu button to reset (restart) it but it does not work. It will not scroll down or up or anything. Help please!

Just follow these steps :)
1.) Press the Menu button and the Select button( the center button) BOTH @ the same time.
2.) Hold them down for 6-10 seconds or until you c the Apple Logo
3.) Let go of Menu and Select
4.) Then it should be ok!
5.) Now you're finished! :)

If that DOESN'T work go to an Apple Store or call the Apple Company.
Yes, mine did the same thing when i first got it. I just kept unfreezin when it needed it and i just used it like normal. It should go away.

Sounds like a problem for Apple. They have great customer service and might offer to replace your unit if found defective.
