Oh yes Charlie Drake was I beleive the last of the great slap-stick comedians on stage, theatre , television and a movie or two to his credit..............................Yes he had that first glimps laugh, you just laughed as soon as he came on screen or stage. LIke others he had his catch phrases such as Hellooooooooo my darlings , to mention just one. He made I think number 4 in the charts with "SPLISH SPLASH I WAS HAVING A BATH" ........But like many divorcees he was very well known for his womanising particulary late teenagers...............But enough of that . He was a great british entertainer and a individual in his brand of humour he
will always be remembered...................R.I.P. CHARLIE .....

I remember him being a small blond bloke, on the telly years ago. I also remember Max Wall, nobody else seems to which is a bit scary. Did i make him up?

Was funny a long time ago, but I think he turned into a bit of a sleeze later, especially when he joined Jim Davison in his adult pantomimes

He was definitely one of the old school. Along with Norman Wisdom, Tommy Cooper etc......he just had to look at you and you would laugh! Thanks for the memories Charlie. x

When I was a child we were watching him on a live program, he jumped through a window and injured himself. they had to stop the program.
