this is nothing too funny,but when i was in kindy back in the mid 80s, i came home to my parents and said 'they sing this really weird song at school, they say "Australian sons are ostriches" ', turns out i was talking about our national anthem which says "Australians all let us rejoice"
I still get stirred about it today

CCC- Credence Clearwater Revival has a song "A Bad Moon Rising" The lyrics in the song include the phrase "There's a bad moon on the rise." It sounds like "There's a bathroom on the right!"

What a great question! For me, it was the song "Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland"
Here is what I used to think was the line:
"Later on, we'll perspire, as we dream, by the fire.."
Of course it's "conspire" not "perspire".

In that Macy Gray song she sings "my world crumbles when you are not here".
I thought it was "I wear goggles when you are not here."
My girlfriend thought it was "I blow bubbles when you are not here."
Apparently neither of us is real bright...
