Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Aeropostale, or Hollister?

Preps do not shop at those stores. You want to know a store that sells preppy clothes- go to Lilly Pulitzer, JCrew or Ralph Lauren.
All of those stores *abercrombie, ae, etc...) scream slutty public school bimbo who follows their idea of fashion by going to fake-preppy stores*. Unless, of course, you are a guy, in which case the clothes scream the same thing, except in a guy version
* I am sorry to all who I offend, and I truly do not mean to- people who go to public school are not cheap nor slutty nor bimbos or mansluts. However, they are not preps by the fact that prep comes from people who go to a prepatory school, which public schools are not. And abercrombie and the other stores are not preppy, nor even close. About 50 years ago Abercrombie was preppy- not anymore. All that they have done is twisted the meaning of the word "prep".

PacSun is great! Abercrombie and Fitch is awesome also. Aeropostale would be good. BTW, I took slight offense to the person who said Aeropostale was for poor wannabes. I wear Aeropostale(though I'm not a prep)

Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, and Hollister are the same pretty much, and they almost have the same matrial of cloths. I really don't consider Aeropostale a prep store.

Well ,to straightforward answer your question, I'd say either or. Just choose one they practically sell the same thing it just depends on your location. And when you say prep, your talking about a Cali Prep huh? Laguna Beach? Because a TRUE old money prep (tennis clubs, sweaters, yadayada) would be caught dead in those stores unless they are buying ribbon belts, (and nothing else) look it up, it's in the Official Preppy Handbook, and my PrepSchool friends told me those stores are a no, no.
