Use Mr. Clean's Magic Erasers. They work great. Just make sure that you do not get them super wet. Just barely damp does the job. Oh, also don't buy the knock off's. They do not work near as well as Mr. Clean brand.

I swear by Mr. Clean Magic Eraser's! They are fantastic for all sorts of nasty black marks on lots of surfaces!

at the drug store, or Lowe's or Home Depot or wherever, look for a product called "GOO GONE" it will get the marks out (and cost less than the Magic Eraser)

try that Mister Clean Magic White Eraser deal, in the laundry soap/cleaning products isle. works really well, may need more than one to get them off though.

if its a permanent black marker try a little generic hairspray in a hidden place wipe it really works on drywall crayons also

Use some diluted vinegar. Vinegar works to clean just about anything.
