This company had insurance, damaged my items, kept some of my items, and now they will not pay up. I live in Florida and every time I call them, I get the run around.

The first place to start is the Better Business Bureau of the city in which you moved from. If, for example, you moved from New York City, you can contact the Bureau office there. They can give you additional info that will help you. Also, depending on the matter of the complaint, sometimes you can complain to the attorney general of New York State. You might find that there are other consumers who have similar complaints.

Moving companies are regulated by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration. Household is the only segment of trucking that the feds have a hold over as far as regulation anymore. I will provide you with 2 links, 1st to the FMCSA - http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/ and 2nd to the exact site to file a complaint - http://www.1-888-dot-saft.com/ . Good Luck, As I am sure alot of paperwork will have to be done,. you know how the governement works
