*sigh* Why?? Because of Tony Romo?? Jeff Garcia??
PLEASE.
Tony Romo just showed in the last 4 games that he sucks.
Garcia is on a hot streak soon to end.
so, NO its NOT the year of the backup QB, and Dallas isnt going to the Super Bowl

Not at all. Yeah, backup QB's are leading their otherwise mediocre teams (Dallas, Philly, Denver) to Wild Card spots and berths in the playoffs, but look at the REAL football teams:
Chargrers, 13-2: Philip Rivers
Bears, 13-2: Rex Grossman
Ravens, 12-3: Steve McNair
Patriots, 11-4: Tom Brady
Colts,11-4: Peyton Manning
Saints, 10-5: Drew Brees
There you have it. These are the teams in the NFL that have a legitimate chance at winning the Super Bowl, and not a one has a backup QB playing right now. Another notable mention is Carson Palmer, whose team is better than their record, and Matt Hasselbeck is another solid starting QB. Bottom line, look at the stats of the starting QB's compared to teams whose QB is a backup.

You can call it the year of the backup, or the year of the takeover.
Romo, Young, Cutler, and Leinart will be their team's starters next year.
Garcia will start on a new team because of his play with the Eagles.
Tha Jury's still out on Harrington.

I agree with what WhiteSoxFan said, I just didn't want to type it. Except he can take his Bears out. They are one-and-done in the play-offs. Unless they switch QB's and that could totally skew this question's answers.

well tony romo, garcia, young (but he should have been a starter) grossman, and various others. I know grossman is a starter but come on, he doesn't derve it. maybe that's why football teams suck this year.
