they will be very wet as the spin cycle is to wring out the excess water

They will be heavy, full of water, and take VERY long to dry. You could try ringing them out, but that can stretch and wear out things, or lay inbetween towels, roll up, and push on it. It will suck out lots of the water for you.

They will be sopping wet when you take them out and it will take a lot longer to dry them in the dryer.

they retain so much water you can't put them in the dryer. even after attempting to hand wring them out- trust me i know...
had to get a new washer a few months ago for that reason.
