So I thought I was pregnant last month, had a week late period with light bleeding and no BFP. It's about time for me to ovulate and I"m getting Egwhite cm, but my cervix is low firm and closed. My bbt's have all been like, in preovulation stage range, but consistant, within one degree, which is odd for me. normally they're a little on the erratic side. I"m just wondering what's going on here because I"ve been having like a ton of mucus but, I"m closed up like fort knox. Has anyone had this before?

well i was not able to understand your question very well but what i think you are about to ovulate, the cervix is usually up and soft for ra very short time and then sometimes you cannot differeentiate between hard and midlevel and soft, what is there in your bbt,you must be knowing your pattern if you are recording it for a while, remember there is a dip in the temperature before it goes up the day when the temperature dips is the day when ovulation takes place and then its over so try at the day of dip.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

I agree that Taking Chrage of Your fertility is a great book to have and will help very much. I do not know the answer to your specific question.

I do wonder why anyone offended by female medical issues would read the questions in this category and then actually complain!

heck no, and from what I've just read I think that you need a licensed doctor to explain to you what your problem is because you really do have one.Good Luck honey child.

Is this really necessary to talk about online where there are both females and males? And is it really good to take advice about this from complete strangers? I think not!
