What`s a "regular" sized window? I guess if you went to Lowes and ask the same question, some ASSociate would show you a unit that he or she sells the most of. But that will vary from store to store. A contractor in one neighborhood may have installed predominatly 4-0 5-0`s, while in the nextdoor subdivision another is installing 3-0 6-0`s. You may not even have an opening that will accept a "callsize" window. Enter the word:"custom"!! Not a huge expense for a vinyl window,But something to consider for a proper fit. Then you have the "add ons". Low E, tint, muntins. Don`t forget quality. You`ll pay more for say a Simonton Window than you`ll pay for a Silverline. But you get what you pay for. By the way, installation is probably $60 to $150 depending on where you are and what you`re installing. (Second floor is more)

There are a number of vinyl window manufacturers and the prices can be quite different. I have used reputable companies with good products and waranties that are in the 100-125 dollar range per window. The labor will vary more than the window.
If it is just a window (1) typically the labor to remove existing and install new with proper exterior trim the price would be about 350. If it was a full house of windows or a full day of work you could expect to pay about $250 per window.
The difference is justifying your trip and accounting for your work day. It takes the same amont of travel and time to set up tools for one window as it would for 10 windows.
