I'm a white guy myself, and would even like to address the Michael Richards incident. While the African-Americans I find at fault for heckling, the racist rant was uncalled for. People need to take responsibility for their own actions, I totally agree with you. I'm curious as to where your question stemmed from, but people definitely need to stop pushing the racism issue. It's equally strong on both sides. My uncle was murdered by a black guy. Now, then, it would be IGNORANT of me to hate all African-Americans for one incident, but I can see how some people might feel that way if it were an everyday occurrence. But the reality is, I think the majority of these people you speak of are simply looking for a scapegoat.

Unfortunately, SOME white people do feel that way. And unfortunately, SOME black people seem to blame white people for their problems and to give that impression. I, too, wish that we could all sit together and come to an understanding among the races regarding quality.

That's the same as a white guy saying that "some" black guys are all deadbeat dads, and all get those plastic spinners at walmart, rap crap and call themselves pimps.
But I do agree with your other point, even if your first comment was, in an obviously unintended way, racist, that racists are, essentially, the worst race.

I agree with you I hate sterotypeing. The worst bad guy of all time was Timothy McVey and he was a nice white boy from a rural community. Served in the military.
Now that boy was a terriorists. Many brave men and women who are black serve in the military and don't blame anyone for anything. They more than pull their weight and ask for no special privileges. We need to get away from that. Hopefully we are improveing.

There are SOME black people who say that they are being held back due to white people and slavery which ended 200 years ago. Of course its not all blacks and I dont even think its the majority of black people. There are TONS of wonderful, successful black people, but it seems that those who cry the loudest are the ones who only have nasty things to say (Just as with anything else in this life, not just about race, everything)

my mom called "the blame game" the american past-time...
people will blame stuff on the boss, the wife, the kids, the clerk or almost anyone but themselves. sometimes minorities or majorities will also get the blame. women blame "men" and men blame "women" i see it on here all the time. but true happiness will come from taking responsibility for yourself. help everyone learn this as you are here.

I understand. I am white and it goes both ways. We all just need to get along. Variety is beautiful. Have a great day.

Thank for making African Americans looks even worse. It's ignorant questions like this that piss white people off.
I have several Aftican American friends who never blame the white man for their problems. When somebody makes a mistake, it's usually their own damn fault.
Everytime I make a mistake I don't blame anyone but myself.
Pretty stupid question if you ask me

What I've heard is that minorities feel that those in power are making laws and judgments that make their lives tougher.
I think many whites automatically think it's "against white people", when nothing about color was said.

To your own point...SOME black people do. To be specific, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Lewis Farrakahn to name a few.
