I have 2 sisters and my dad feels he HAS to treat us alike. He seems to think this means getting the same gift for us all. My sister had a baby this year and got them a grandparents willowtree angel so they decided to get her the mother and baby one. I strongly believe those things should only be bought for people who collect them. My parents know that the only space I have is a tiny bedroom...no room for ornaments at all, yet they still bought me a willow tree angel....and a BIG one too. Honestly, I would have rathered get nothing at all! I am so sorry, but just because we are all sisters doesn't mean we like, or are ABLE to use the same things. It was a wonderful gift for my sister, but I feel like my parents didn't even think about me at all when they shopped. I could keep babbling because I am rotted...but I am actually trying to figure out a way to be grateful here.

Well I have three family members...my sister and my two sister in laws..who give extremely tacky gifts to my kids each and every year. They feel they have to get a "bunch" of stuff rather than one nice item...so they buy all this crappy inappropriate stuff. My daughter 15 got those little girl make up kits and my sons 8 and 11 got a kit with bottle openers, nail files, knives and shoe polish...you gotta be sh*tting me!!! And Frisbees and pencils and little girl rings and earrings...comeon...I'm embarrassed donating that stuff to charity.
One simple, thoughtful gift apiece would have sufficed. It's not like they didn't ask me what the kids liked after all...why bother when you're not going to even listen? Sheesh....

Gift cards. But most of all, gift cards from specialty stores that I don't go to. I'd rather get a gift that was well picked out than an impersonal gift card.

constructive, this is a in many situations going on certainty that i admire the colour pink. i'm no longer afraid to confess that. yet...do I EVER positioned on the colour? No... this is why a pink shirt I have been given this 12 months is the worst present ever. i'm going to by no skill positioned on it... terrific: The digital camera I basically have been given too.

Giftcards. While nice and appreciated, they show lack of creativity and that they don't really seem to know the person well enough to get them a "real gift." I'm not complaining technically, I just wanted to answer the question. Other than that, everything was wonderful. In fact, I used the giftcards in question toward a SIRIUS Satellite receiver for my Mustang.

70% Dark Chocolate from my dad. I don't like it, its tastes gross.
As for the worst present I ever got for Christmas...my "secret" Santas from my family seem to get me something that I would never use, and they give my sister things I would LOVE to use.

How can someone say the worst gift? You are lucky to even receive gifts. Graciously accept and be thankful someone thinks enough of you to give you a gift.

I guess the worst gift was receiving nothing from my mother at all.
