Last night my GF and had sex, and I came in the condom inside of her. After I came, she thought that the condom had broke. To assure her that it didnt, I took the condom into the bathroom and poured water into it: there was no leak or tear as no water had come out of the condom. My question is, is have any of you thought the condom had broke but it ended up not breaking? and, is there a possibility she may become pregnant, even though I came in the condom which did not seem to be broken when I poured water into it and no water had come out? And another question would be, have any women tried to become pregnant while they were ovulating but did not become pregnant? Sorry if this seemed like a long question, just need some help! Thanks everyone!

As for the condom, I believe that a condon is only 98.9999% effective. Wait till her next period, if it does not come normally. Take a test to make sure. And as for Ovulating and not becoming preganat , it is possible not to get pregnant.

I think the risk has more to do with testerone levels. A girlfriend of mine got pregnant twice even though she was using birth control & he was using condoms. Plus condoms are made in a microscopic mesh. The Aids virus is smaller than the holes. So if you can get aids using condoms why not pregnancy? Think in terms of the pressure. Did you run water through it at high pressure? All these things are basically minute chances but they do exist as the gf mentioned above proves. So it comes down more to if it's worth the risks. Yes you can ovulate & not become pregnant. That's part of the reason why you have fertility specialists.

Your girlfriend is probably worried about using condoms in general, so she is also probably extra-sensitive to any weird sensations during sex. I think YOU would be the one who would immediately know if a condom broke -- not so much her -- the sensation would feel quite a bit different on your manhood! :) If you checked the condom in the bathroom and did not find any rips or tears, everything should be just fine. And let me tell you, if it HAD broken, it would be obvious. Rips/tears almost always destroy a condom. Think of a balloon. When it pops, it shreds. Condoms (at least latex ones) are virtually the same way.
As for your ovulation question, I think the answer varies. There are some couples who try for months and months to conceive during the woman's peak ovulation time, and nothing happens. And then there are women who aren't even trying to get pregnant, and a small amount of semen enters into her, and BAM! she's pregnant. It all depends. There are lots of factors involved in fertility.
Hope this helped. Good luck! :)

I can't really help you on the condom part, but chances are if you tested it out with water like that you'd be able to see if it was broken. My husband and I tried to get pregnant many a time when I was ovulating....it doesn 't happen just because you hit that time of the month. There is really only a 25% chance when you time it perfectly, even though it seems like you'd get pregnant if you did it then. Try not to worry about it, just have your gf take a home pregnancy test if she's late. You're most likely fine!

It doesn't seem likely at all that she would become pregnant if you are certain the condom didn't break and you tested it out afterwards to make sure 100%.
Yes, there are many women out there that have tried to become pregnant while they were ovulating and didn't.
