getting some game lag, would it have to do with my pc's virtual memory?

Changing Windows settings could give you better performance in games but if your games are lagging badly, the only way to fix that is to update your computer.

Spend some money on a new processor, ram, and graphics card. (Which isn't so much for good parts now a days..)

Vitural Memory is never a good idea. 95% of the time more ram solves the problem. =) 1GB is $60, 512MB of ram is only like $30, and 256 is about $15 at newegg.com

Also hit controll alt delete and go to processes and hit the "Memory usage" button twice, this will show you what is taking up the most usage of you're CPU.

do you have all applications closed when you play? If not try that. P2p sharing programs make online games especially laggy.
