Sounio in south attica, great sunset!, islands of the saronic gulf Poros, Ydra, aigina, or more longway islands of aigean, Paros, Tinos, Santorini, Mykonos. It depends if you prefer nightlife (Mykonos), great sunset (Santorini), religion atmosphere (Tinos).Wherever you go i am sure you will find somethinginterest, Greece is full of history!. Have a great time!.

Spend 4 days at least in Athens and nearby sites.
Go to the Peloponnese for 4 days, to Epidaurus and Nafplion, Olympia, Monemvasia.
Go to a combination of islands for 7 days, I like Siphnos - Milos (on the same ferry line), Naxos- Santorini (on a second ferry line), Andros -Syros - Mykonos (on a third ferry line).
You have 1 week left now. Well, you can either spend more time to the previous choices, or go to more islands if you don't mind being on a boat a lot, or go to a mountainous area, like the Meteora or Zagorochoria or Pelion (there is also sea nearby), or Delphi and Hosios Loukas Monastery, with Galaxidi and the sea nearby.

I use Athens as my home base there with relatives of relatives...1st year took in the historical day trips....but for past 2 years I take train north to the area of Halkidi for its got a nice beach, friendly people......I have found anywhere I have gone though that I am accepted, but then I am always with Greeks but still they seem interested talking to me and love to hear me try to say my Greek words with a southern accent.....lol

I did a wonderful tour in Greece. I spent a few days in Santorini, Crete, Athens ...but I spent a week in Mikonos...lots of fun...what happens in Mikonos Stays in Mikonos. If you have the chance...stop over in Turkey...Kusadasi. Very Cool.

Take the train around Peloponnese to Olympia. On the way stop in Sparta and Naphlion.

Where ever you go you will enjoy both the country and the people. Not to mention the food and the nightlife.
