Its different for everybody. I dont think there is a 'normal' amount. It just like the hair on your head, some people have alot, others hardly have any. If you think its too much, trim it. It will keep it healthier looking if you do. Will keep it cleaner and from getting underwear fuzz or getting all matted too. Good luck to you.

Sweetie, you cant say it is abnormal, because you dont know what normal is.Each and every person(male or female) are different. You cannot expect someone to explain what normal is,because that isnt possible. If you are that uncomfortable with it,you have two options. You can trim it,it will not eliminate it,but you will have to continue to trim it as it will grow back,it is like regular hair on your head. You can Shave it,as it is better hygiene and just keeps that area cleaner and nicer. This you will have to keep up with as well.Someone stated that it becomes itchy once it grows back,it may become a little itchy, but you will have to keep up with it.Either of these options you will have to keep up with, you cant do it once and call it quits unless you want it to grow back. You could also get it waxed, however that seems just a tad uncomfortable to me.Good luck and have a safe and blessed new year.

if it is bothering you that much then you can see someone who is in the hair removal business there are things you can do such as trimming it with scissors but I really would not shave because when it grows back it can be itchy and irritating all will work out I know it can be very embarrasing you also have to find the things that make you pretty and focus on those instead of what you do not like about yourself from some one who has been there

There is no abnormal amount for pubic hair. Some people just have more than others. If it is causing problems for you you can always trim periodically with a scissors. (A Fiskars Children's School Scissors work great.)

There is nothing wrong with pubic hair. I am assuming that you are fairly young. If you don't have a mom to talk too about this then you may want to talk with one of your friends mom. Don't start shaving because that would make it become thicker.

Lots of pubic hair is completely normal. If it bothers you, you could shave it all off or just trim it.

If you have thick hair it is normal. Also if you have dark hair. Don't worry about it. If you have fine, light hair on your head, your testosterone levels may be a bit too high (women have small amounts of testosterone) but otherwise, if it is really bothring you, get it bleached or trimmed.

What type of advice do you need? Why not just keep it trimmed or shaved like the rest of us.
