Well I got a question about microsoft flight sim X. When I try to start the program my computer gives me a message saying Invaild hardware/driver detected....The drivers currently instaled for your video card may cause your computer to stop responding when flight sim is running.
VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP .0
Also with my computer I see the video card is soddered to the mother board, so if I buy a new one for a PCI slot, would that work?

Here's what I would do, in priority order:

Will Flight Sim allow you to ignore the error message and run the program anyway? Do that if it is possible. It might just work anyway. If it does not work, then the worst that's likely to happen is that you would have to reboot to get things back to normal. That's not so bad.

Next, go check the Via website to look for an updated driver. If there is a version newer than the one you are running, then download and install it.

Next, go to the Microsoft update site, and make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX. DirectX is a separate layer of software that is used by many programs such as Flight Sim.

You should not have to buy new hardware just to get Flight Sim to work. I don't think that will be necessary, because your video hardware is not unusual. There is probably some way to get it to work.

If you do decide that you want to install a separate PCI video card, you can do that. Your on-board video device should not get in the way, and you don't have to remove it. Just follow the manufacturer's instructions for the new video card. Your computer's BIOS will detect the new video card, and use it instead of the built-in one.
